• Astronauts perform air-to-ground voice checks with Launch Control (Kennedy Space Center) and - Mission Control (Johnson Space Center)
  
• Close the orbiter's crew hatch and check for leaks
  
• Complete White Room close-out
  
• Close-out crew retreats to fallback area
